Synopsis: 1932. Jimmy Gralton is back home in the Irish countryside after ten years of forced exile in the USA. His widowed mother Alice is happy, Jimmy’s friends are happy, all the young people who enjoy dancing and singing are happy. Which is not the case of Father Sheridan, the local priest, nor of the village squire, nor of Dennis O’Keefe, the chief of the fascists. The reason is simple: Jimmy is a socialist activist. So when the “intruder” reopens the village hall, thus enabling the villagers to gather to sing, dance, paint, study or box, they take a dim view of the whole thing. People who think and unite are difficult to manipulate, aren’t they? From that moment on they will use every means possible to get rid of Jimmy and his “dangerous” hall.
Synopsis:A deliciously romantic coming together of Gulrez “Gullu” Qadir (Parineeti Chopra) a Hyderabadi shoe-sales girl disillusioned with love because of her encounters with dowry-seeking men; and Tariq “Taru” Haidar (Aditya Roy Kapoor) a Lucknawi cook who can charm anybody with the aroma and flavours of his biryani and kebabs. In the clash of diametrically opposite but equally spicy cultures of Hyderabad and Lucknow, Gullu and Taru arrive at a “tuning-setting”, rewrite traditional recipes of love, crush old-fashioned world-view and make their own masaledaar albeli rangreli pichchar – Daawat-e-Ishq.

Synopsis: Khoobsurat is a quirky, modern romantic comedy about what happens when a vibrant, hopelessly romantic physiotherapist meets handsome young Rajput prince who is the complete opposite of her and is engaged to someone else. It is a battle of values between two individually crazy families one that encourages discipline and self – restraint versus the other, which is all for spontaneity and open mindedness. Khoobsurat looks at universal themes: being able to love and respect yourself; and having to fight for the things you really want.
